Washington Drivers License Information
To get your drivers license in Washington, you need to apply for a Basic drivers license. You must have a Washington license within thirty (30) days of establishing residency. You must give up any other Drivers License that you have previously held from any other State. Please have your Washington license with you at all times, its the law.
Washington Drivers License Requirements
18 years and under

Instruction / Learner's Permit

A few of the requirements:

You must be at least 15 years of age and must be in washington drivers ed .

You must be at least 15 and 1/2 years of age without washington drivers ed .

Parent or Legal Guardian signature on form and must appear in Person.

Fifty (50) hours of total driving and ten (10) must be at night.

Must have an adult with you at all times (must be at least 25 years old).

Intermediate Driver License

You must be 16 or 17 years of age.

Must have completed washington drivers ed.
