Tennessee Drivers Permit Information
To get your drivers license in Tennessee, you need to apply for a Regular Class D drivers license. You must have a Tennessee license within thirty (30) days of establishing residency. You must give up any other Drivers License that you have previously held from any other State. Please have your Tennessee license with you at all times, its the law.

Intermediate Restricted License

You must have had a Learner Permit (see above) for at least one hundred and eighty (180) days

Fifty (50) hours of total driving and ten (10) must be at night.

Intermediate Unrestricted License
