Georgia Drivers License Information
To get your drivers license in Georgia, you need to apply for a Class C license. You must have a Georgia license within 30 days of establishing residency.
Georgia Drivers License Requirements
18 years and under

Class C

You must be at least 18 years of age.

Class C 17 years of age

This is for people who have a valid drivers license from another state.

Class D Provisional License

You must be at least 16 years of age and have held an instructional permit for for 1 year.

Class C Instructional Permit

You must be at least 15 years of age.
